Down a gravel lane lies a small family cemetery which led to a cabin during pioneer days where Elizabeth (Strayer) Guseman gave birth to her children. Once enveloped in red cedar trees now lies all but in ruins enclosed within a handmade iron fence. The fence is believed to have been constructed by John’s two sons as they were blacksmiths. The cemetery rests on the farmland once owned by John Guseman. Both John and his sons, Jacob and John, were all blacksmiths.
