THE STORY BEHIND THE PASSION
HOW DID IT START?
With passion. Years ago, my husband, Joe, did not know much about his family history. I challenged him to find answers to the deep questions and find his center. When he started to research, it became contagious with so much information and has inspired me to partner in creating the legacy. It’s there to discover, but unfortunately few find it.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
For me, everyday our research creates a building block laid upon the county’s foundation. It’s where together we will build the home of history and give our children and grandchildren the ability to reside within the identity of who they are and where they come from. It’s important to discover so that it won’t be left forgotten to time.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
Fairfield County holds an ample amount of history waiting to be rediscovered. It’s our generation’s responsibility to continue the hope of passing down the legacy for future generations. The best part is bringing back overlooked history and partnering with so many amazing individuals around the community.
