THE HISTORY

On December 28, 1850, Bishop Joseph C. Long dedicated the Evangelical Association Mount Tabor Church, a simple one room structure that showed sophisticated craftsmanship in its early architecture. This early church segregated the men and women on different sides of the church with their own door.
