The Far-Land Legacy commits to research and report on the history of Fairfield County. When we investigate the past, we are enabled to build the present and secure tomorrow. With such strong roots growing deep within the soil of Fairfield County, Joe and Julia, born and raised here, are currently raising their five children in Lancaster, Ohio. After exploring their own heritage over the past decade, they strive for their children and future generations to remember the history and legacy of those that paved the trail before us, providing a place to call home. The name of the newspaper came from traveling to a far and distant place, back in time, to learn about the history. The fact our last name integrates within it is awesome, too!
